What is the Gilead Medical Education Grand Rounds?
It is a programme of non-promotional virtual, case-based meetings funded and organised by Gilead, featuring a different expert health care professional (HCP) each month, held on a weekday evening, and lasting 1 hour. The expert will deliver an interactive session utilising patient case studies, primarily focusing on current treatment paradigms within breast cancer care. Continuing professional development (CPD) accreditation will be sought for these meetings. This programme is for healthcare professionals only.
What topics will be covered?
Previous breast cancer topics covered during the webinars have included, among others: treatment options in HER2-positive disease, the impact of comorbidities on treatment, and fertility and pregnancy. Please see below for a comprehensive list. Future sessions will continue to focus on topical clinical issues in breast cancer.
How will the sessions be interactive?
There will be online polls and Q&As for you to participate in, as well as an opportunity to ask your questions to the expert presenter of the month.
